Working with a good real estate agent can be a great way to find a great home. Without a real estate agent, you're forced to do all the searching and footwork yourself. Simply put, a good real estate agent can help you get a better house quicker. Your real estate agent still needs your help, though. Here are four specific ways that you can help your real estate agent find you the right house quicker: * Tell your agent exactly what you want and do not want in a house. If you can make a list of what you need and don't want, that's even better.
* Know what you can pay. Get pre-approved on your loan or at least talk to your banker so you know exactly what your price range is.
* Give your agent exact feedback. After viewing a house, tell your agent what you do and do not like about it. Be specific – this information will help your agent search more accurately.
* Ask your agent if there is any other info they need to search more accurately for a house for you. |
